Mid Devon Council has (bad) designs on your vote

Going the rounds, wrapped around a freebie called the Mid Devon Star, is a 4 page publication entitled.. mid devon talk...yes, all lower case and a touch of bold.
What this self conscious typo is meant to signify is anybodies guess. Maybe, we are in touch with the little people but  can be strong and decisive when needed?  Sounds like Cameron.

To help you out it is "Your four-page guide to the latest news from Mid Devon District Council"   And what is the latest news...They say in the editorial? "We'll be bringing you everything you need to know- from housing to public forums and from council tax to recycling."

So what we need to know  is...It's Christmas; Oh, and hopefully a greener Christmas. That the Council is leaner and fitter with a clear strategic direction, at least that's what the council leader Tory Peter Hare-Scott smugly grins out of his photo. How to become a councillor. That most of the council offices and  leisure centres.will be closed from 24 December until 4 January.  And how 17 new affordable homes have been provided in Cullompton (in collaboration with Mid Devon Council, whatever that means).

What it really marks is the start of the campaigning season to get the Tory council re-elected in May.

It's shoddily produced, badly designed and dare it be said a waste of tax payers money...bet you never thought you would hear that here.
